Due to living in an upside down Bungalow with steps down to the road we didn’t think we could have any sort of lift other than an external platform lift. After having Multicare come and take a look we were surprised that we could have a lift down to our garage beneath our landing floor. The lads were fantastic and the works involved (shaft, removing walls and hole in the floor) were carried out with minimum disruption. The lift is a life saver! Thank you Multicare for providing us with something we never thought possible!

I really appreciate your advice and Mark and Gareth were great. They were highly skilled in many ways and always left the place tidy. They made a good job of cleaning up – 180 years of dust and soot came down when they cut into the landing ceiling!! Think they appreciated the flow of tea and coffee. Babs is getting used to it. Until she is confident in using up I am using the remote to send her up and down. I have found it useful for taking stuff up and down stairs so all together money well spent!

We originally had Multicare attend our home to measure up for a stairlift. Whilst the surveyor was measuring our stairs we noticed an advert on TV of a Stiltz lift. We asked the surveyor if Multicare was able to provide a quote for a Duo+ lift also. After careful consideration we decided to opt for the Duo+. After my wife was admitted to hospital and we realised that our stairlift would no longer be adequate to help her get upstairs easily, we asked Multicare HomeLifts to assess our home for the suitability of a home lift. After the pleasant survey and help that Gareth gave us we decided to go with Multicare Homelifts as they were one the only companies we found able to install a reconditioned lift to suit our price range. From start to finish the engineers were fantastic, and very accommodating. With little mess and tremendous hard work the complete job was finished in 3 days and I was able to welcome my wife home from hospital. A fantastic service from all.

We are writing to express our thanks for the excellent work carried out on installation of our Trio+ lift. When you came to help us decide whether a stair lift or an internal lift was needed to assist me in getting upstairs, you were extremely helpful,courteous and professional whilst being friendly. You fully explained how the lift would work and how much room it would take up, the templates being very useful in helping imagine the size of the proposed lift. At no time did we feel pressured into making a decision. The structural work was carried out neatly with minimum mess or dust. Had the manufacturers been able to deliver the lift on time then the install would have been completed in four days. As it was, there was only a few days delay. Every home should have a Stiltz lift. Having the lift installed has completely changed my dad’s life. Although he has no desire to leave the home he shared with Mum for 50 years, he’s lonely now that Mum has passed away, and needs the company of his family. But he could not manage our stairs, and so could not stay for long periods, and never over night. With the lift our house is totally accessible for him – he can go upstairs and down faster than we can! It’s far safer than the chairlift he has at home, and my two year old granddaughter loves it too. The installation went very smoothly, with Multicare sorting everything, with no fuss and very little mess. We are very satisfied customers
