Thanks to the compact and discrete nature of our Stiltz home lifts, you can have one installed just about anywhere in your home. Suitable for even small properties. Installation is simple and straightforward, requiring little building work. All that is needed is a small opening in the ceiling for the lift to move through. Below are some of the most common applications for a home lift.
Downstairs room to bedroom
Perfect if you want to get straight from downstairs to bed. You can install a lift so that it comes directly from the room below (such as the living room) into your bedroom. It can be installed in a corner, so that it takes up minimal space and is relatively inconspicuous.
Stairwell to landing
If you prefer to have a lift installed in your hallway or landing, provided there is enough space, you can position your home lift in the stairwell void to go up to your landing, making use of the unused room.
Cupboard to cupboard
Our home lifts are extra compact. So, they can easily be installed in a cupboard where they will be hidden from view. This could be a coat cupboard, an airing cupboard or even a wardrobe.
Downstairs garage to indoors
If you have a garage underneath your home, you can install your home lift to take you directly from the car into the house level above.
Customers love our home lifts for making life easier and more comfortable. Getting a home lift installed is easier than you think. With their compact design and self supporting structure, they can be installed almost anywhere and do not require load bearing walls.
The innovative design uses a unique dual rail structure. All that is needed for installation is an aperture cut into the ceiling to allow the lift to move from floor to floor. Getting from one room to another takes less than 30 seconds.
Our home lift mechanisms are completely self contained. It can be plugged into a standard 13 amp plug socket and running it uses the same amount of energy as boiling an electric kettle, making it extremely economical.

What our customers have said..
Mr Dalley – Harmony (Reconditioned)
Thank you so much to Multicare Homelifts! To stop having to transfer my husband from his chair to our old, unreliable stairlift has saved my back from aching for the first time in years! What a fantastic team you have!
Mrs Griffin – Trio+ (Reconditioned)
Due to living in an upside down Bungalow with steps down to the road we didn’t think we could have any sort of lift other than an external platform lift. After having Multicare come and take a look we were surprised that we could have a lift down to our garage beneath our landing floor. The lads were fantastic and the works involved (shaft, removing walls and hole in the floor) were carried out with minimum disruption. The lift is a life saver! Thank you Multicare for providing us with something we never thought possible!
Mr Norris – Duo Vista (New)
I really appreciate your advice and Mark and Gareth were great. They were highly skilled in many ways and always left the place tidy. They made a good job of cleaning up – 180 years of dust and soot came down when they cut into the landing ceiling!! Think they appreciated the flow of tea and coffee. Babs is getting used to it. Until she is confident in using up I am using the remote to send her up and down. I have found it useful for taking stuff up and down stairs so all together money well spent!
Mr Driver – Duo Vista (Reconditioned)
We originally had Multicare attend our home to measure up for a stairlift. Whilst the surveyor was measuring our stairs we noticed an advert on TV of a Stiltz lift. We asked the surveyor if Multicare was able to provide a quote for a Duo+ lift also. After careful consideration we decided to opt for the Duo+. Within a week from placing the order Multicare had completed the full installation of our HomeLift and what an improvement to our lives it has been. Thank you so much for your services
Mr Cadman – Duo+ (New)
After my wife was admitted to hospital and we realised that our stairlift would no longer be adequate to help her get upstairs easily, we asked Multicare HomeLifts to assess our home for the suitability of a home lift. After the pleasant survey and help that Gareth gave us we decided to go with Multicare Homelifts as they were one the only companies we found able to install a reconditioned lift to suit our price range. From start to finish the engineers were fantastic, and very accommodating. With little mess and tremendous hard work the complete job was finished in 3 days and I was able to welcome my wife home from hospital. A fantastic service from all.
Mr Benson – Duo Classic (Reconditioned)
We are writing to express our thanks for the excellent work carried out on installation of our Trio+ lift. When you came to help us decide whether a stair lift or an internal lift was needed to assist me in getting upstairs, you were extremely helpful, courteous and professional whilst being friendly. You fully explained how the lift would work and how much room it would take up, the templates being very useful in helping imagine the size of the proposed lift. At no time did we feel pressured into making a decision. The structural work was carried out neatly with minimum mess or dust. Had the manufacturers been able to deliver the lift on time then the install would have been completed in four days. As it was, there was only a few days delay. The “Starship Enterprise” as we have named it is working well and making an improvement to our daily life. A big thank you to you and all your crew
Mrs Howard – Trio+ (New)
Every home should have a Stiltz lift. Having the lift installed has completely changed my dad’s life. Although he has no desire to leave the home he shared with Mum for 50 years, he’s lonely now that Mum has passed away, and needs the company of his family. But he could not manage our stairs, and so could not stay for long periods, and never over night. With the lift our house is totally accessible for him – he can go upstairs and down faster than we can! It’s far safer than the chairlift he has at home, and my two year old granddaughter loves it too. The installation went very smoothly, with Multicare sorting everything, with no fuss and very little mess. We are very satisfied customers
